We also hold a DofE licence to run approved expeditions and residential. We work with our AAP manager in the DofE head office in Windsor to gain advice, support and ensure we are delivering all the requirements.
We are fully insured by AIM which includes membership to PHAROS, a 24 hour major incident response service for AIM Members
We are an approved provider for the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS), which is a personal performance, non-competitive, incentive scheme for all ages to learn navigation skills and gain confidence to get out and enjoy the countryside.
They all hold a minimum of the Mountain Leader Award (ML – summer), an up to date first aid qualification, have been through the DBS check and are accredited DofE assessors. They have vast array of experience of working with young people and the DofE Award, as well as working with adults in the UK and across the world.
