Scotland

Go exploring with our outdoor adventures in Scotland.

Scotland’s magnificent and varied landscape makes for some of the most spectacular and varied walks in the UK.

The new Loch Lomond National Park protects Britain’s largest freshwater lake. West of Loch Lomond are the steep Arrochar Alps towering above Loch Long together with scores of less visited lower hills stretching down to the seaboard. To the east is the Trossachs, a beautiful landscape of forests, lochs and hills that has long been known as Scotland in miniature. The variety means that there are routes catering for walking at all levels of ability, from easy rambles for the family, through longer, strenous hikes to ascents of the major Munros. Britain’s largest National Park, the Cairngorms are the most extensive range of high mountains in the UK, with a vast wilderness plateau, girt with magnificent corries, at the heart of the region. This is encircled by the beautiful valleys  passing through stunning landscapes of ancient Caledonian pinewoods teeming with wildlife.

There are a wealth of fantastic walks and adventures in the 2 National Parks in Scotland to suit all ages and experience.  Whether you want to summit some of the highest munroes, challenge yourself along spectacular ridges or simply feel surrounded by some of the most breath-taking views in the UK, we can create tailor-made walking holidays and breaks for individuals, groups and families.

We will take you for 2,3 or 4 days of fun, exercise and adventure in a social and relaxed atmosphere. Open to all levels from total beginners to those looking to expand their skills or confidence. Depending on your budget there are some fantastic pubs, b and bs, hotels, Youth Hostels and camp-sites to stay in. You can bring your own mountain bike, or we can hire one for you… the options are endless.
