3 day residential with Y6 girls

We’ve had another 3 days of fun with Year 6 from Leicester High School for Girls. With the aim of allowing time for the girls to get to know each other, have fun, cement friendships and form new bonds, we planned a residential in Leicestershire to allow them time to play and have lots of fun doing activities.

All the girls loved being able to play on the go-karts and grass sledges during their free time. Everyone participated in instructor-led sessions which included biking, the scramble course, bouldering, fire-lighting, elder-stick jewellery and knife-skills. During the evening we had a large campfire with hot chocolate and marshmallows, played games and enjoyed games inside in front of a roaring log fire.

All the meals were eaten together with freshly made food and the home-made cakes went down especially well!

The girls were fantastic throughout. They were asked at the start to do 5 things: listen, have a go at everything, be kind, have fun and make new friends. They achieved this in abundance!

Thank you for a lovely time!
